Mitochondrial RNA (mtRNA) granules are RNA-rich granules located in close proximity to nucleoids inside mintochondria. mtRNA granules contain newly transcribed mtRNAS and various proteins participating in post-transcriptional processing and regulation of mtRNA, and mitoribosome assembly (26953349, 28285835).
